GENEROUS
With a giving plan in place, you can create opportunities for increased generosity.
OUR DONORS ARE
Empowered Givers
Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.
– Hebrews 13:16
For more than 30 years, the Christian Community Foundation has helped community-minded people in Memphis and beyond reach their philanthropic goals and consider how their gifts can be an act of worship.
Through our donors, we’ve granted millions of dollars to churches, Christian ministries, and nonprofit organizations across the country; spanning service areas that meet spiritual and physical needs. We believe that God-inspired strategic, generous and impactful giving can transform Memphis and the world – and we’d love for you to join us in this calling.
Guided by our
Core Tenets
Strategic
When you have a plan in place, your gifts can flow more freely. Our donors find that donor-advised fund planning creates opportunities to prioritize giving and maximize impact.
Matthew 6:19-21
Generous
We care more about what flows out of your donor-advised fund than what is invested into it. Our donors are encouraged to use their funds to give generously to organizations close to their hearts.
2 Corinthians 9:6-7
Impactful
We want to give in ways that create change in lives and hearts, pouring the love of Christ into our world. A donor-advised fund rooted in strategy and generosity can help you maximize your giving impact.
Galatians 6:2
Giving is more than signing a check. It’s an act of worship – an investment in the future of God’s Kingdom on Earth. If you want to give in a more strategic, generous and impactful way, we can help you get started.

Communal Giving:
The Hope For Memphis Fund
The Hope for Memphis Fund is a core function of CCF – it is unique to our organization and was developed at the time of our founding.
The Hope for Memphis Fund makes grants or loans from the surplus and earnings of CCF and from donations made to the Hope for Memphis Fund by others. Christian ministries in Memphis whose work furthers the Kingdom here on earth are able to apply for capacity-building grants from the Hope for Memphis Fund, allowing them to efficiently and effectively expand their work and spread the Gospel. Its ultimate mission is to create more sustainable and more effective Christian ministries and leaders who are seeking city transformation.
Why does this matter to our donors? Your investment through CCF and our judicious budgeting make the Hope for Memphis Fund possible. While your donor-advised fund grows tax-free, it also pools resources into the Hope for Memphis Fund with other similarly minded fundholders, creating grant opportunities for Christian organizations in our city.
